Immunefi

Immunefi is a leading Web3 bug bounty platform founded by Mitchell Amador in 2020 to enhance blockchain security by incentivizing ethical hackers (whitehats) to identify vulnerabilities in smart contracts and decentralized applications. It protects over $70 billion in user funds, partnering with projects like Chainlink, MakerDAO, and Zano, and has prevented significant losses through its transparent, proof-of-concept-based system. Immunefi offers audit competitions, customizable reward pools, and a Standard Badge to ensure project reliability.

Zano on Immunefi: Zano, a scalable and secure layer-1 blockchain designed for e-commerce with a hybrid Proof of Work/Proof of Stake consensus, has collaborated with Immunefi to strengthen its codebase through bug bounty programs. An invite-only program launched in February 2025 audited Zano’s codebase, focusing on cryptography and core rules like Bulletproofs and CLSAG, with no critical bugs found. Rewards up to $25,000 were offered, paid in USDC on Ethereum. A subsequent Zano Trade program offered up to $20,000, concluding in July 2025 with $7,194, $3,971, and $2,835 awarded to top researchers. Zano plans to launch a public bounty program to further enhance security, aligning with its goal of building a resilient ecosystem for confidential assets and P2P transactions.
